Football: Olympics Clash btw France and Argentina.

France slightly win over Argentina in the quarter-finals of the mens football at the olympics was barred by a post-match disturbance. An early goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta was enough to send Thierry Henry's side through to the semi-finals after 11-and a half minutes of additional time. Players were seen pushing and shoving each other on the pitch as some attempted to restore the peace. The disorder continued towards the tunnel before the France team re-emerged some time later to celebrate with their home fans. There had been animosity between the two sides in the build-up to the match after some Argentina players were videoed singing a racist and homophobic chant directed at France after their recent Copa America win.
