Gareth Southgate Resigned As England Manager After Englands Euro 2024 Loss

England Manager Gareth Southgate resigned two days after defeat by Spain in the Euro finals.
England lost 2-1 in Berlin against Spain on Sunday.they were beaten on penalties by Italy at Wembley three years ago. This will be their second consecutive Euros final defeat.
Gareth Southgate,53, has managed his country England for 102 games in eight years in charge and his contract was set to expire later this year.
southgte said during his farewell speech "As a proud Englishman,it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England"
"It has meant everything to me, and i have given it my all".
But its time for change,and for a new chapter"
