                                Novak Djokovic beat Rafael Nadal making it his biggest major win. Novak Djokovic beat Rafael Nadal at Australian Open 2019 to reach a seventh record in the title and a third successive Grand Slam as he swept aside Rafael in Melbourne. The Serb, beat his ravel by 6-3 6-2 6-3 making it his biggest victory in a major final. No2 seed Nadal 32, looked rattled by the world No1 quality and made 28 unforced errors. The Serb won in two hours and four minutes to move clear of six-time men's winners Roy Emerson and Roger Federer. The reigning Wimbledon and US Open champion claimed his 15th Grand slam title, moving him outright third ahead of American Pete Sampras in the all-time list, closing in on Switzerland's Roger(20) and Nadal (17). A new search and rescue operation for the piper PA-46 Malibu carrying the Argentinian striker and pilot David Ibbotson was called off on Thursday. Victor Moses has only made six appearance for Chelsea Under Maurizio Sarri The Nigerian international has joined his move to Fenerbahce on an 18-month deal. Victor Moses has only made six appearance for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri. The Chelsea play maker will remain at the Turkish side until the end of the 2019/20 season. The Nigerian international has made just only six appearance for the Blues this season, and has played just 26mins in the Premier League. Chelsea's assistant manager Gianfranco Zola described Moses'lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge as a "pity". According to Zola who described Moses "its a pity because he's a wonderful professional and its a pity he couldn't find the opportunity to show his value.

    Henry's last game in charge was Monaco's French Cup defeat by second-tier Metz on Tuesday   Monaco have sacked Thierry Henry after 20 games in charge. The Ligue One strugglers announced on Thursday the ex Arsenal player had been suspended. The 2017 French Champions are in the relegation zone after five wins under the french man in all competition. Predecessor Leonard Jardim is expected to take over from Henry, after three months being fired himself. Franck Passi was appointed as Henry's assistant on 20 December, will take training on Friday. Passi has previously had spells as caretaker manager of Marseille and Lille. Wayne Rooney's mug shot issued by Loudoun County The ex England player was last year arrested by the armed police for public intoxication which occured on the 16th December.  The ex Everton player, who now play for DC United, last month committed the offence and was arrested by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Auhtority at Dulles airport, which is near to his club stadium for a class four misdemeanor before being released without bail. Wayne is due for court hearing on 24th of Janaury, but this has been waived after he paid some charges earlier this month.
